April 29, 2025: Grand Rapids, MI 49506 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the East Grand Rapids Pioneers (Grand Rapids, MI) and the visiting Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI), witnessed East Grand Rapids's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Rockford by a count of 5-1.
The Pioneers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI). The Cougars enter the Division 2 District 5 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Catholic Central was overwhelmed by Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids, MI), 14-5, in a league contest.
Next, the Rams meet the Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 1. Rockford will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 8-6 league win over Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI).
