April 29, 2025: Chicago, IL 60625 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), witnessed Northside's lacrosse squad gain a win over Elk Grove by a final score of 6-3.
The Mustangs now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitney Young for a Chicago Public outing on Thursday, May 1. Northside will face a Dolphins squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Dolphins record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Elk Grove falls to 0-9 on the year. The Grenadiers host Barrington (Barrington, IL) to face the Fillies/Broncos in a Mid Suburban outing on Thursday, May 1. The Fillies/Broncos go into the outing with a record of 9-4. Barrington won 16-2 in their recent league outing against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)
