The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the American Leadership Academy Patriots (Lexington, SC) and the visiting Thornwell Saints (Clinton, SC), saw American Leadership Academy's baseball team gain a win over Thornwell by a tally of 14-0.

The Patriots (9-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitmire (Whitmire, SC). The Wolverines go into the non-league challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Whitmire was overwhelmed by Landrum (Landrum, SC), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Thornwell drops to 5-12 on the year. The Saints travel to Southside (Greenville, SC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 0-23. Southside lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Wren (Piedmont, SC)
