Washington High School Baseball - Anacortes prevails Blaine
May 1, 2025: Anacortes, WA 98221 The Anacortes Seahawks baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Blaine Borderites to 1 in the Seahawks league win on Thursday.
The Seahawks now own a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellingham for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Friday, May 2. Anacortes will play a Bayhawks team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks record now stands at 6-12.
With the defeat, Blaine drops to 10-10 on the year. The Borderites host Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to play the Tigers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Friday, May 2. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 15-3. Burlington-Edison won 11-2 in their recent league test against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA)
