The Center Grove Trojans baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Carmel Greyhounds to 5 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now hold a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Plainfield for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Center Grove will play a Quakers team coming off a 6-2 league win over Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Quakers record now stands at 9-7.

With the defeat, Carmel drops to 8-6 on the year. The Greyhounds host Avon (Avon, IN) to play the Orioles in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Orioles go into the test with a record of 13-4. Avon lost 6-1 in their recent league test against Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN)
