In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Silver Creek Dragons volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Columbus East Olympians.

The Dragons (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN). The Warriors go into the IBVCA battle with a 2-8 record.

The Olympians now own a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus North for a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. Columbus East will encounter a Bull Dogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to New Albany (New Albany, IN). The Bull Dogs record now stands at 6-15.
