May 2, 2025: Monroe, MI 48162 Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Inter-City Baptist moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI) to clash with the Crusaders in a Michigan Independent - Blue test on Tuesday, May 6. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 4-9. Lutheran Northwest lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Airport (Carleton, MI)
The Falcons/Kestrels now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flat Rock for a Huron test on Monday, May 5. St. Mary Catholic Central will clash with a Rams team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, MI). The Rams record now stands at 7-7.
