Birdville Hawks (North Richland Hills, TX) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Birdville upgrades its record to 28-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to Abilene (Abilene, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 20-9. Abilene won 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Americas (El Paso, TX)
