In Saturday's non-league test, the Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) softball squad got by the host West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC), by a tally of 2-1.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. Richlands will attempt to advance on its 18-5 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 11-12 record after their 2-1 league loss to Richlands (Richlands, NC).
