The Montour Spartans baseball squad (McKees Rocks, PA), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the triumph, Central Catholic moves its record to 6-12 on the season. The Vikings travel to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 14-5. Penn-Trafford won 5-3 in their recent league contest against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA)

The Spartans now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blackhawk for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. Montour will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-6.
