Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME), 24-0 in a league test.

With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bobcats host Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME) to battle the Vikings in a Class D South test on Saturday, May 13. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-2. Vinalhaven lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Forest Hills (Jackman, ME)

With the defeat, Valley falls to 1-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Rangeley Lakes (Rangeley, ME) to battle the Lakers in a non-league test on Monday, May 15. The Lakers come into the test with a record of 0-6. Rangeley Lakes lost 21-1 in their recent non-league test against Forest Hills (Jackman, ME)
