May 8, 2025: Frankfort, NY 13340 Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights (Frankfort, NY) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Westmoreland Bulldogs (Westmoreland, NY), 9-6 in a league game.
With the triumph, Frankfort-Schuyler improves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Maroon Knights travel to Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY) to play the Thunder in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Thunder enter the game with a record of 1-2.
The Bulldogs now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cooperstown for a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. Westmoreland will play a Hawkeyes squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Laurens Central (Laurens, NY). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 6-1.
