North Carolina High School Soccer - Ashley knocks off South Brunswick
May 10, 2023: Southport, NC 28461 The Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) soccer bounced the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), 9-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, Ashley moves its record to 19-1 on the year. The Screaming Eagle host West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to battle the Trojans in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Thursday, May 11. The Trojans enter the bout with a record of 7-10. West Brunswick lost 5-0 in their recent league match against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
With the loss, South Brunswick drops to 6-11 on the season.
