In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Grand Island Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Hamburg Bulldogs.

The Vikings (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Redhawks go into the Class C challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Iroquois held off West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY), 10-9, in a league challenge.
