New Jersey High School Softball - Haddon Heights nudges Gloucester City
May 13, 2024: Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 Haddon Heights Garnets (Haddon Heights, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ), 1-0 in a league challenge.
The Garnets now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Audubon for a Colonial - Liberty challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Haddon Heights will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 5-1 league win over West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Gloucester City falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Sterling (Somerdale, NJ) to battle the Silver Knights in a Colonial - Liberty challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Silver Knights enter the challenge with a record of 2-11. Sterling lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Collingswood (Collingswood, NJ)
