Illinois High School Baseball - North Boone gets by Aurora Central Catholic
May 16, 2024: Poplar Grove, IL 61065 North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL), 6-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Boone upgrades its record to 24-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Saturday, May 18. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 9-20. Marian Central Catholic won 12-11 in their recent league test against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL)
With the defeat, Aurora Central Catholic falls to 11-19 on the season.
