Maine High School Softball - Presque Isle can't get by Ellsworth
May 17, 2025: Ellsworth, ME 04605 Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), 13-12 in a league game.
With the triumph, Ellsworth upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Eagles host Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME) to play the Trojans in a Class B North game on Tuesday, May 20. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 5-4. Mount Desert Island lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME)
The Wildcats now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Old Town for a Class B North game on Saturday, May 24.
