May 27, 2025: Saranac, MI 48881 Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Saranac Redhawks (Saranac, MI), 7-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Central Montcalm improves its record to 10-8 on the year. The Hornets travel to Lakeview (Lakeview, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Central State Activities Association-Gold game on Wednesday, May 28. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 8-22. Lakeview lost 13-2 in their recent non-league game against Saranac (Saranac, MI)
The Redhawks now hold a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ionia for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 28.
