Wisconsin High School Softball - Thorp bounces Athens
May 29, 2025: Athens, WI 54411 The Thorp Cardinals softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Athens Bluejays to 4 in the Cardinals non-league win on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rib Lake for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 3. Thorp will confront a Redmen team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Prairie Farm (Prairie Farm, WI). The Redmen record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Athens moves to 5-14 on the season.
