The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Woodlake Tigers (Woodlake, CA), saw Garfield's softball squad nip Woodlake by a count of 4-1.

The Bulldogs now sport a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they host Oceanside for a non-league match on Saturday, June 1. Garfield will face a Pirates squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Eastside (Lancaster, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 24-6.

With the loss, Woodlake falls to 29-3 on the campaign.
