Virginia High School Softball - Fort Defiance bounces Cave Spring
June 7, 2022: Fort Defiance, VA 24437 Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 24-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Kent for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 10. Fort Defiance will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 24-1.
With the loss, Cave Spring falls to 19-7 on the campaign.
