Utah High School Soccer - Maple Mountain nudged by Corner Canyon
August 8, 2024: Draper, UT 84020 Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Corner Canyon advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Box Elder (Brigham City, UT) to clash with the Bees in a non-league test on Monday, August 12. The Bees come into the test with a record of 2-0. Box Elder won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Bear River (Garland, UT)
The Golden Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lone Peak for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 13. Maple Mountain will clash with a Knights team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Timpview (Provo, UT). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
