In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Iowa Colony Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Almeta Crawford Chargers.

The Pioneers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Lake Travis achieved victory over Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aldine for a non-league test on Friday, August 15. Almeta Crawford will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
