August 14, 2025: Monticello, GA 31064 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jackson Red Devils volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Jasper County Hurricanes.
The Red Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Grove (McDonough, GA). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Union Grove achieved victory over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Hurricanes now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a 1A Area 2 test on Tuesday, August 19. Jasper County will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-5.
