In Thursday's non-league match, the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 18. North Wilkes will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Foard (Newton, NC).

With the loss, North Davidson drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Black knights host Randleman (Randleman, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, August 18.
