Utah High School Soccer - Maple Mountain nudged by Mountain Crest
August 15, 2024: Hyrum, UT 84319 Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mountain Crest advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Ridgeline (Millville, UT) to clash with the Riverhawks in a 4A Region 11 test on Tuesday, August 20. The Riverhawks come into the test with a record of 3-1. Ridgeline won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Fremont (Plain City, UT)
The Golden Eagles now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Timpview for a 5A Region 7 test on Tuesday, August 20. Maple Mountain will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mountain View (Orem, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-3.
