The Athens Christian Eagles felled the host Augusta Prep Cavaliers football team by a score of 21-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 22. Athens Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 47-7 non-league loss to Towers (Decatur, GA).

The Cavaliers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Glascock County (Gibson, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Glascock County lost by Jenkins County (Millen, GA), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
