The American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots volleyball squad (Clayton, NC), dropped 3-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC)

With the win, East Wake Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Voyager Academy (Durham, NC) to encounter the Vikings in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A battle on Monday, August 18. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Patriots now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Garner for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21.
