North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lincoln Charter over Mountain Island Charter
August 15, 2025: Denver, NC 28037 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) and the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), observed Lincoln Charter's volleyball team top Mountain Island Charter by a count of 3-0.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, North Lincoln notched a victory over West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Raptors battle the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A battle, on Tuesday, August 19. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC).
