In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting East Mecklenburg Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Bluffton Bobcats.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Myers Park nudged Davidson Day (Davidson, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host May River for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Bluffton will play a Sharks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Sharks record now stands at 0-1.
