Newton HomeSchool Mustangs (Newton, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Flint Hills Christian Warriors (Manhattan, KS), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Newton HomeSchool improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Peabody-Burns (Peabody, KS) to meet the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Warriors meet the Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Flint Hills Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
