The Tri Titans volleyball team (Straughn, IN), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN)

The Blackhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Daleville (Daleville, IN). The Broncos enter the Mid-Eastern challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Daleville was nudged by Wes-Del (Gaston, IN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Titans meet the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 19. Tri will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN).
