Ohio High School Soccer - Franklin nudges Preble Shawnee
August 17, 2024: Camden, OH 45311 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) and the host Preble Shawnee Arrows (Camden, OH), saw Franklin's soccer squad hold off Preble Shawnee by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Valley View (Germantown, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Valley View was edged by Waynesville (Waynesville, OH), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Arrows battle the Carlisle Indians (Carlisle, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 20. Preble Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH).
