Georgia High School Softball - Miller County bounces Seminole County
August 18, 2025: Donalsonville, GA 39845 The crowd at Monday's league contest between the Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) and the host Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA), saw Miller County's softball squad beat Seminole County by a score of 12-4.
With the triumph, Miller County improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Pelham (Pelham, GA) to face the Hornets in a 1A D-II Region 1 contest on Tuesday, August 19. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 3-1. Pelham won 17-0 in their recent non-league bout against Early County (Blakely, GA)
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 1 bout, on Thursday, August 21. Seminole County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 18-2 league loss to Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA).
