The Moss Pirates softball team scored 25 runs and held the visiting New Lima Falcons to 17 in the Pirates non-league win on Monday.

The Pirates now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Earlsboro for a Class B battle on Tuesday, August 19. Moss will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 5-4 league win over Prue (Prue, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, New Lima moves to 1-3 on the season. The Falcons host Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK) to meet the Bison in a Class A challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Bison come into the battle with a record of 2-2.
