August 19, 2025: Wilson, NC 27893 Fike Golden Demons (Wilson, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Demons (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, North Johnston beat Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, NC).
