Indiana High School Soccer - Speedway knocks off Cascade
August 19, 2025: Clayton, IN 46118 The Speedway Sparkplugs soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Cascade Cadets to 3 in the Sparkplugs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Sparkplugs now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host West Lafayette for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. Speedway will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Cascade moves to 0-1 on the year. The Cadets host Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN) to encounter the Athenians in a Monon Athletic contest on Thursday, August 21. The Athenians enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Crawfordsville won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN)
