Georgia High School Volleyball - Jasper County can't hold off Putnam County
August 19, 2025: Monticello, GA 31064 In Tuesday's league match, the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) volleyball squad tipped the host Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA), by a margin of 2-1.
The War Eagles now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Clarke Central for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. Putnam County will clash with a Gladiators team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Jasper County drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Newton (Covington, GA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 1-5.
