With the win, Jones improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Trojans host Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league test on Monday, August 26. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 0-3. Hobgood Charter lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
The Vikings now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Bern for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Kinston will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Bears record now stands at 2-3.
