The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) and the host Florence Falcons (Florence, AL), saw Hillcrest's football team gain a win over Florence by a final score of 35-7.

With the win, Hillcrest advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots host Sparkman (Harvest, AL) to play the Senators in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Senators go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Sparkman lost 48-21 in their recent non-league battle against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)

The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Muscle Shoals for a non-league match on Thursday, August 28. Florence will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 24-6 non-league win over Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
