The Laguna Creek Cardinals football team (Elk Grove, CA), dropped 35-22 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA)

With the win, Vista del Lago advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA) to encounter the The Pride in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The The Pride go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bradshaw Christian won 21-20 in their recent non-league bout against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)

The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Placer for a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. Laguna Creek will battle a Hillmen squad coming off a 46-30 non-league loss to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 0-1.
