The Burleson Elks tipped the visiting Keller Central Chargers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Elks confront the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Burleson will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX).

The Chargers (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Trinity (Euless, TX). The Trojans enter the 6A Region I District 4 match with a 6-12 record. In their last match, Trinity was tipped by Midland Legacy (Midland, TX), 2-0, in a non-league match.
