August 22, 2025: Water Valley, TX 76958 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Water Valley Wildcats (Water Valley, TX) and the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), observed Water Valley's volleyball team top Lubbock by a count of 2-0.
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Bearcats enter the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Hawley achieved victory over Idalou (Idalou, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Westerners now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wall for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22. Lubbock will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 6-3.
