The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC) and the visiting First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC), saw Laurens Academy's volleyball squad nip First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Laurens Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 24.
