The May River Sharks were victorious over the visiting Airport Eagles football team by a score of 34-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sharks face the West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 30. May River will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC).

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Bruins enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
