In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Darlington Falcons football squad scored a close 26-21 victory over the Lamar Silver Foxes.

The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their match against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Chiefs enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, North Myrtle Beach was nudged by Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC), 41-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Silver Foxes confront the Green Sea Floyds Trojans (Green Sea, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 30. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 64-0 non-league loss to Loris (Loris, SC).
