The Fairfield Central Griffins football team (Winnsboro, SC), was topped 42-18 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC)

With the win, Ridge View advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Blazers host Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Northwestern won 45-44 in their recent non-league bout against Hough (Cornelius, NC)
