Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pioneer advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA) to face the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-0.
