August 24, 2024: Modesto, CA 95350 Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Grace Davis Spartans (Modesto, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hoover improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Gustine (Gustine, CA) to face the Reds in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Reds go into the test with a record of 1-0. Gustine won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Riverbank (Riverbank, CA)
The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterford for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. Grace Davis will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Leroy Greene Academy (Sacramento, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
