West Virginia High School Football - Liberty crushed by Independence
August 25, 2022: Coal City, WV 25823 Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), 60-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Independence improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Princeton (Princeton, WV) to confront the Tigers in a Coalfield AA test on Monday, August 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Princeton won 53-8 in their recent league test against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV)
With the loss, Liberty drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to PikeView (Princeton, WV) to confront the Panthers in a Coalfield AA test on Friday, September 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-1.
